About Heliad III
One owner has looked after Heliad III since she was new in 2020, and that continuity shows in a steel-hulled explorer built for distance rather than a season of hard charter use. Lynx Yachts delivered her as a custom 92-foot yacht, and Corfu is where she lies today, ready for a new owner to take over that same single-owner history.
Build and provenance
Her hull is steel and her superstructure aluminium, a combination built for range and low running costs rather than outright speed. At 28 metres and 101 gross tonnes, she carries more interior volume than many yachts of her length, and her load line falls under a threshold that brings lighter regulatory requirements without giving up living space. For a buyer, that means a yacht built to cross open water and to run efficiently once she gets there.
Layout and accommodation
Eight guests are accommodated in four cabins, one of them a master suite set on the main deck rather than below, keeping that owner's cabin off the stairs guests use day to day. Four crew look after them.

Twin 493 hp Cummins QSC8.3 engines drive Heliad III to a 10-knot cruise and a 14-knot top speed, modest numbers that match a long-range steel hull built to cover distance efficiently rather than post a sprint speed. Stabilisers keep her steady underway, and that same low-key approach carries through to a bow thruster and crane aboard, both built for handling and tender work in busier harbours.
On deck and at anchor
On deck, a swimming platform and foredeck seating provide simple gathering points, and a bow thruster and crane make short-handed harbour work and tender handling easier. WiFi, satellite TV and air conditioning keep the cabins comfortable at anchor, and sunpads give guests somewhere to spend a still afternoon.

Heliad III lies in Corfu, Greece, and we bring buyers to see her there in person rather than relying on photographs alone. Once an offer is accepted, we move straight to survey and sea trial before any handover is discussed.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
