About Asya
Ten crew for twelve guests puts nearly one crew member to each guest, the kind of ratio that means individual attention rather than a rota. Heesen built Asya in 2015 as part of its 4700 Series, and a 2022 refit sits inside her ownership history rather than at the start of it.
Build and provenance
Asya is a steel-hulled, aluminium-superstructure motor yacht from Heesen's 4700 Series, 47 metres overall with an 8.5-metre beam and a 3.1-metre draft, at 499 gross tonnes. Heesen delivered her in 2015 and she was refitted in 2022. Bannenberg & Rowell designed the interior, work that carries through the accommodation below.
Layout and accommodation
Five cabins sleep twelve guests, and the owner's suite runs the full beam of the yacht. Ten crew keep pace with that guest count, working and living apart from the guest decks so a full house never feels crowded aboard a 47-metre hull.
Performance and engineering
Two 1,341 hp MTU 8V 4000 M63 engines give Asya a 10-knot cruise and 15 knots at full power, a displacement yacht's numbers, built for steady passages rather than a sprint. At-anchor stabilisers, stabilisers underway and zero-speed stabilisers cover her at rest, at speed and in between, three systems that between them keep motion off the table whatever the sea is doing.
On deck and at anchor
A jacuzzi and a dip pool sit on deck alongside a dedicated sundeck, and a gym gives guests somewhere to train without leaving the boat. A tender garage and a crane handle the toys, an outdoor bar covers the evenings, and SATCOM, WiFi and Starlink keep her connected, with air conditioning through the guest decks.
Where she lies and how to see her
Asya lies in Ibiza, Spain. Boatcrowd sets up viewings there and comes along for them, and after an offer is accepted a survey and sea trial follow before anything is final. She also charters with us out of Cannes, so a buyer can spend a week aboard before buying, with no rates to work out at this stage.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
