Ferretti 800 Motor Yacht
About Ferretti 800
Six hundred hours sit logged on the engines of this Ferretti 800, delivered in 2015 and lying today in Greece. That figure is the first thing worth asking a surveyor to confirm.
Build and provenance
She is built in GRP on a monohull, twenty-five metres and eighty-one feet, with a beam of 6.3 metres and a draft of 1.9 metres. Those proportions match the 800 line, built for a full-width interior over a hull that still clears shallower approaches to a quay.
Layout and accommodation
Four cabins sleep eight guests, with four heads for guests and one more for the crew of four, who keep quarters of their own away from the cabins. The split between guest and crew space is the kind that keeps a boat this size comfortable for a full complement aboard.
Performance and engineering
Two MTU 12V2000 M94 engines give her a 25-knot cruise and a 34-knot top speed. A Seakeeper gyroscopic stabiliser holds her level at rest, and two Onan generators, 19 kilowatts apiece, keep the systems running once the engines are off. Bow and stern thrusters bring her into a berth without drama, and a Novurania tender with a Yamaha outboard travels aboard for the crossing to shore.
Where she lies and how to see her
This Ferretti 800 lies in Greece. Boatcrowd sets up viewings and is present for each one, and once an offer is accepted we bring in the surveyor and organise the sea trial.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
