Extra Yachts is building her for delivery in 2029, a 34-metre planing yacht designed around a big, usable stern rather than a big saloon.
Build and provenance
She is a monohull planing yacht built in Italy, measuring 34 metres with a beam of 7.6 metres and a draft of just 1.4 metres, shallow enough to open up anchorages a deeper-draft yacht would have to skip. Extra Yachts is building the Extra X110 Fast to order for a 2029 delivery, which means a buyer inherits no history and no prior owner's choices, only the specification as built.
Layout and accommodation
Eight guests sleep across four cabins, and the design pushes the accommodation forward under the superstructure so the aft deck stays clear for the stern to become the main living space, It is a boat built around time outside rather than time in a saloon.
Performance and engineering
A buyer can choose between two 2,200 hp engines or three 2,000 hp units, a spread that lets a buyer choose between simpler maintenance and outright thrust. Either way she is quoted at a 20-knot cruise and a 25-knot top speed, with spray rails along the planing hull to keep the ride dry when she is pushed. The shallow 1.4-metre draft means she can tuck into water a deeper sportsyacht would avoid.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
