Extra 106 Triplex Motor Yacht
About Extra 106 Triplex
A gross tonnage of 300 on a 32-metre hull is the number that frames Extra 106 Triplex: Extra Yachts drew her as the next step in the Triplex line, with a second saloon and an extended beach club added to what came before her. Due in 2027, she is still in build, so her provenance today is a design lineage rather than a service history.
Build and provenance
Four decks carry the extra volume, and a second saloon sits on the upper deck with its own galley, so guests are not waiting on food sent up from below. Extra Yachts split the crew's circulation from the guests' own, with a separate stair running from the lower deck to the upper deck and the helm station, a layout choice that keeps guests and crew from sharing a passageway. She is a monohull, built for displacement cruising rather than outright speed.
Layout and accommodation
Five cabins sleep 10 guests, with two saloons giving them somewhere to gather beyond their cabins: one on the main deck for everyday use and one on the upper deck for something quieter or for dining. Each of the two galleys serves the saloon nearest it, so a meal on the upper deck need not travel from the deck below.
Performance and engineering
Three Volvo Penta IPS 1350 pod drives, rated at 1000 hp apiece, give her a 14-knot cruise and a 16.5-knot top speed, numbers that mark her out as a coastal, at-anchor yacht rather than a long-range passage-maker. A dual stabilisation system, Seakeeper and fins working together, keeps her steady once she stops for the night, and a tender stows in a garage built into her bow.
On deck and at anchor
The beach club opens astern and a swim platform meets the water beside it. A jacuzzi sits forward on the bow, and the private sun deck stays clear, clear of the crew's own traffic between decks.
Where she lies and how to see her
Extra 106 Triplex is being built in Italy, and buyers can follow her fit-out ahead of delivery. Boatcrowd arranges a viewing once she is far enough along to walk through, and attends it with you; once you make an offer, we set up the survey and sea trial that come next.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
