Muchos Mas Motor Yacht
About Muchos Mas
Rift-sawn white oak floors and walnut burl panelling set the tone aboard Muchos Mas, whose interior work goes well beyond a stock production yacht. Crescent Yachts delivered her in 2016 at 44 metres, and at 491 gross tons she carries the kind of volume that a detailed interior brief needs room to use.
Build and provenance
Crescent Yachts built her in Canada, in GRP rather than a metal hull, to Lloyd's classification. The interior is the work of the Seattle-based designer Jonathan Quinn Barnett, with engineering by Jack Sarin, a combination that explains why the finish reads as custom rather than off-the-shelf.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests sleep in five cabins aboard Muchos Mas, and a crew of nine, close to one crew member per guest, keeps service unhurried at a full table. A skylounge and a separate office add rooms beyond the standard cabins and saloon.
Performance and engineering
Two 1,800hp MTU engines give her a 12-knot cruise and an 18-knot top speed, figures that mark her as a displacement motor yacht built to cover distance efficiently rather than sprint between anchorages.
On deck and at anchor
A jacuzzi, a swimming pool and a sun deck sit outside for the hours at anchor, and a gym below lets guests keep a routine underway.
Where she lies and how to see her
Muchos Mas lies in Fort Lauderdale. Boatcrowd sets up every viewing and is there for it, and once an offer is accepted we move straight to survey and sea trial.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
