Azimut Magellano 25M Motor Yacht
About Azimut Magellano 25M
Two 1,400 hp MAN V12 engines and a semi-displacement hull built to run in dual mode give the Azimut Magellano 25M a genuine range: 380 nautical miles at her 18-knot cruise, with 24 knots on tap when the passage calls for it. She is built in Italy, for delivery in 2026.
Build and provenance
The Azimut Magellano 25M is built in GRP and carbon fibre, with her exterior styling credited to Ken Freivokh and her interior design to De Cotiis Architects. At 130 gross tonnes and with a semi-displacement, dual-mode keel, she is built to run efficiently at low speed and lift onto the plane when asked for it.
Layout and accommodation
Eight guests are accommodated in four cabins, with two further cabins for a crew of three, and five bathrooms for the guests plus a separate day head for life in the saloon. A passenger capacity of sixteen, well above the eight who sleep aboard.
Performance and engineering
Her twin MAN V12 engines are each rated at 1,400 hp, enough for an 18-knot cruise and 24 knots flat out, with 380 nautical miles of range at the cruising speed: a yacht built for a multi-day passage rather than a single afternoon out.
Where she lies and how to see her
Italy is where she will be delivered. Boatcrowd puts a viewing together whenever it suits you and is there throughout, and once you accept an offer a survey and sea trial come next, before handover.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
