About Apricity
Four cabins hold eight guests aboard Apricity, a ratio built for cruising rather than for filling every berth, and a crew of three keeps the boat and the guests running. Azimut delivered her in 2023 as an S8, an 81-foot sport yacht in GRP, and she lies now in Palma, Spain, offered through Boatcrowd.
Build and provenance
She is a GRP hull with a carbon fibre superstructure, Azimut's S8 model built in 2023, and at 100 gross tonnes on a 25-metre length she carries real weight in her construction. Alberto Manchini drew her exterior and Francesco Guida her interior, the pairing behind the styling above and below decks.
Layout and accommodation
The four cabins split into two doubles and two twins, with a full-beam master suite that runs the width of the boat for extra space and quiet from the engines below. Three crew, with two cabins of their own, run the galley and the service line largely out of guests' sight.
Performance and engineering
Three 1,000 hp Volvo Penta D13 IPS-1350 engines drive Apricity to a 25-knot cruise and 35 knots at full throttle, pace enough to make open water part of a day out rather than a passage to plan around. She carries 300 nautical miles of range at 20 knots. Her engines show 324 hours, low mileage for a 2023 build, and two 27 kW Mase generators keep the systems running once the engines are off. A Seakeeper and dynamic positioning system hold her steady at anchor as well as underway.
On deck and at anchor
The transom folds out to a tender garage that holds a 4-metre tender and a jet ski, launched and hauled without needing the crew to rig anything by hand. At anchor the Seakeeper and dynamic positioning system between them keep the boat still, whether guests are swimming off the platform or the boat is holding position with no anchor down.

Apricity lies in Palma, Spain. Boatcrowd sets up every viewing and stands in for the buyer at each one, and once an offer is accepted we organise the survey and sea trial that follow before the sale is final.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
