Build and provenance
Luz de Mar is a monohull, built to Azimut's Grande 36M specification and launched in 2024. Measured overall she runs to 118 feet, with a 7.5 metre beam that carries volume the full length of the hull rather than tapering it toward the bow. As a flybridge model, she carries a second open deck above the saloon, built into the design rather than added afterwards.
Layout and accommodation
The flybridge deck is itself a layout choice: a second open level above the saloon that gives guests and crew a place to spread the day across, rather than gathering everyone into a single room below.
Performance and engineering
Two 2,400 hp MTU 16V 2000 diesels power her, matched with stabilisers that hold her level at anchor and under way.
On deck and at anchor
On deck, a sundeck and a barbecue point turn outdoor time into more than a passageway between decks, and underwater lights carry the evening on once she is anchored. Air conditioning keeps the interior comfortable through the day.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
