Build and provenance
The Azimut Grande 36M is a monohull flybridge motor yacht from the Italian yard, styled by Alberto Mancini with elongated lines and a sportive stance despite her 275 gross tons. At 35 metres with a 7.5-metre beam, she carries real volume inside a hull shaped to look lighter than she is. Delivery is due in 2027, so a buyer takes her still in build rather than with a survey history behind her.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests sleep in five cabins, and a crew of six look after them, a service ratio that suits formal entertaining as much as private cruising. The main deck lounge can run as two separate lounge areas or as one open dining and sofa arrangement, and the skylounge above is built to be reconfigured too: a lounge cinema setup, or a full indoor dining room that frees the main deck's forward end for a separate sitting room. The master cabin sits centrally in the accommodation, built around a king-size bed with clear sightlines rather than tucked into a corner.
Performance and engineering
Two MTU engines rated at 2,200 hp and two at 2,400 hp give her an 18-knot cruise and a 24-knot top speed: figures built for steady, comfortable running rather than outright pace.
On deck and at anchor
Onboard entertainment includes a cinema room, one part of a skylounge built to be used several different ways depending on how the day is going.

The Azimut Grande 36M is under construction in Italy. A buyer can view her progress, and once an offer is accepted, we bring in the surveyor and arrange the sea trial before she's handed over.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
