A buyer weighing a 36-metre flybridge yacht can do something more useful than a sea trial alone: charter Arsana first. Amer completed her in 2023 as the Amer 120, a monohull motor yacht of 245 gross tons, offered through Boatcrowd from Porto-Vecchio in France. Because she is also in our charter fleet, a week aboard is possible before any offer is made.
Build and provenance
Ramasco Yacht Design drew Arsana's exterior lines and Jean Michel Wilmotte designed her interiors, the pairing behind this flybridge model. She is a fibreglass monohull classed by RINA, at 245 gross tons. Delivered new in 2023, she has no refit history: her class survey reads as a delivery record rather than years of maintenance.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests sleep across five staterooms, including a full-beam owner's suite set on the main deck rather than tucked below, so the principal cabin shares its deck with the salon and helm. A crew of six looks after the boat and her guests, a ratio generous enough for attentive service at a full table.
Performance and engineering
Four 1,350 hp Volvo Penta IPS engines give Arsana a 23-knot cruise and a 27-knot top speed, pace enough for a same-day run between anchorages rather than an overnight passage. Two 45kW generators and a third at 24kW keep her systems running at anchor, and a 1,300-nautical-mile range extends her reach along the coast without refuelling stops. A beam of 7.4 metres and a draught of 2.11 metres let her reach harbours a longer yacht could not enter.

Arsana lies in Porto-Vecchio, France. Boatcrowd sets up viewings and comes along to each one, and after an offer is accepted we arrange the survey and sea trial. She is also part of our charter fleet, so a week aboard is an option before you commit to buying.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
