A steel hull and an aluminium superstructure, built to Lloyd's classification, are the kind of detail a serious buyer checks before anything else, and Energy carries both as standard. Amels delivered her in 2022 as a full-custom build, styled outside by Espen Øino and finished inside by François Zuretti. At seventy-eight metres and 2,885 gross tons, she was drawn as one considered project rather than assembled from a stock hull.
Build and provenance
Energy is a Monohull motor yacht, built to Lloyd's classification with a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure, an engineering combination that keeps weight down high on the yacht while the hull below stays strong for open water. Espen Øino drew her exterior lines and François Zuretti designed the interior, a pairing that points to a client brief carried through from concept to delivery in 2022 rather than a design bought off a shelf.
Layout and accommodation
Fourteen guests sleep across seven cabins, looked after by a crew of twenty-seven, a ratio that gives Energy the staffing of a small hotel rather than a private boat. That kind of crew strength means full service at any hour, from a formal dinner to a late request, without stretching anyone thin.
Performance and engineering
Two MTU engines, each rated at 3,046 horsepower, give Energy a cruising speed of 13.5 knots and a top speed of 17 knots. Those are displacement figures, not planing ones: she is built to cross oceans steadily rather than to sprint between anchorages, which suits an owner planning long seasons rather than short hops.
On deck and at anchor
The beach club opens her to the water, and the sun deck carries a jacuzzi and a swimming pool for the hours spent at anchor. Below, a gym, a hammam and a beauty salon turn a sea day into a spa day, and further aboard she carries a tender garage, a music lounge, a meeting room and a bar, spaces that cover work, play and arrival all in one hull.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
