About Kensho
23 crew look after 12 guests aboard Kensho, a ratio that leaves considerable room for individual attention rather than a fixed rhythm of service. Admiral built her in 2022, and much of what she carries, from her crew numbers to her deck spaces, is scaled for slower, fuller days rather than a quick turnaround.
Build and provenance
She is a hybrid motor yacht built by Admiral, her interior styled by Jouin Manku of Paris around a calm, pared-back aesthetic. The owner's suite aboard Kensho spans four separate rooms, a cabin, a bathroom, a dressing room and a sitting room, and takes up the full beam of the yacht. At 75 metres and 1,989 gross tons, that scale goes into a small number of very large rooms rather than many small ones.
Layout and accommodation
12 guests are accommodated across 8 cabins, a count that keeps individual cabins large rather than multiplying smaller ones. A lift reaches every deck, from the lowest cabin to the sun deck, so guests and crew can move through the yacht without the stairs.
Performance and engineering
Twin Veth permanent-magnet electric motors drive Kensho at a 12-knot cruise and a 17-knot top speed, with stabilisers fitted both underway and at anchor to keep her steady in either state. Her hybrid-electric drive favours quiet running over outright pace, the kind of setup suited to long days at anchor rather than fast point-to-point transits.
On deck and at anchor
A beach club and a glass-fronted pool sit at the stern, with a jacuzzi, sunpads and foredeck seating spread across the outdoor decks, and an outdoor shower and swimming platform close the loop between the pool deck and the sea. A gym takes up part of the wellness space, and a touch-and-go helipad is also aboard.
Where she lies and how to see her
Kensho lies in Ibiza, Spain, and a viewing can be arranged with Boatcrowd there to walk it with you. A survey and sea trial follow once an offer is accepted, and because she also charters through us, a buyer can book a week aboard before committing to buy her outright.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
