About Nurja
Roll, not speed, is the engineering problem Nurja was designed to solve. She runs on a SWATH platform, a hull configuration her listing material describes as giving markedly less roll than a conventional hull in the same sea state, at the cost of the outright pace those hulls usually trade away. Abeking & Rasmussen completed a three-year rebuild of her at their own yard, finished in 2024.
Build and provenance
Abeking & Rasmussen is the yard behind both her original construction and her rebuild, so the yacht that emerged from that programme in 2024 still carries her builder's name throughout. The interior is by Focus Yacht Design, and her systems include Böning ship automation and Crestron entertainment control, work her own listing material lists among the rebuild. A newly fitted helipad was part of that same programme.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests sleep across five cabins, with a crew of eight aboard to run her. Her beam runs to 17.8 metres, wide enough on a 41-metre yacht to give her more usable width than her length alone suggests. A lift connects her decks and she is fitted to be wheelchair-friendly, and an owner's study is also part of the layout.
Performance and engineering
Two 1,100 hp Caterpillar C32 ACERT engines give her a 13-knot cruise and 15 knots at full power, speeds that trade outright pace for the steadiness her SWATH hull is built to deliver. Stabilisers work both at anchor and under way, adding a second layer of steadiness on top of the hull's own advantage, and a bow thruster helps her manoeuvre in a marina despite her size.
On deck and at anchor
A jacuzzi and a separate dip pool sit on deck, alongside a swimming platform, and a gym is fitted below. She carries SATCOM and WiFi for connectivity at sea, video-on-demand and air conditioning through the interior, and a crane is fitted aboard.
Where she lies and how to see her
Nurja is currently at Palma, Spain. Boatcrowd organises viewings on board and is present throughout, and a survey plus sea trial follow once an offer is accepted, before the purchase is completed.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
