Build and provenance

Piece of Ship carries the model's fibreglass monohull construction, completed in 2017. Her beam of five point one metres is built, in the yard's own description, for stability and optimised performance, which on a planing hull matters most at speed rather than at rest.

Layout and accommodation

Three cabins sleep six guests, a layout suited to an owner and a handful of friends for a weekend aboard. At sixty-eight feet the cabins keep proper headroom and berths for that size of group.

Performance and engineering

Piece of Ship cruises at twenty-four knots and reaches thirty-three knots flat out, the kind of speed that turns a Saturday morning idea into a Saturday afternoon anchorage. Her fibreglass hull keeps her light enough to get onto the plane and hold that pace without labouring.
