About Sunseeker Predator 65
Six guests and a single crew member is a day-boat ratio, not a full-time liveaboard one, and Sunseeker Predator 65 is built around it: an open sports yacht from 2023 with the garage and swim platform of a boat meant for short, fast outings rather than long stays aboard.
Build and provenance
She was delivered in 2023 with twin 1,000 hp Volvo Penta IPS 1350 engines and joystick control at the helm, and she adds dynamic positioning to hold a position off a beach without dropping anchor.
Layout and accommodation
Below deck, three cabins sleep six guests: a full-beam master with its own office space, a forward VIP cabin, and a twin cabin to starboard, each with an en suite bathroom of its own. One crew member lives aboard to run her, in keeping with a yacht built for day trips and long weekends rather than for extended stays with a full crew roster.
Performance and engineering
She reaches 35 knots at full throttle, fast enough to turn a lunch run into a genuinely quick crossing rather than a slow cruise. Stabilisers keep her steady under way, and a beam of 5.1 metres over a draft of 1.6 metres keeps her manageable in the marina berths around Puerto Banus.
On deck and at anchor
At anchor, the hydraulic bathing platform lowers to the water for swimming, and underwater lights make an evening swim easy to see by. Sunpads sit forward and aft for lounging in the sun, a bow thruster helps her hold position without extra hands on deck, and WiFi and air conditioning keep the cabins comfortable and connected once the sun goes down.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
