Lucky Bet Motor Yacht
About Lucky Bet
A teak dining table aft and a wet bar up on the flybridge set the tone aboard Lucky Bet: a boat built around entertaining as much as covering distance. Sunseeker completed this Manhattan 66 in 2019, and she is currently in Chicago.
Build and provenance
She is a Sunseeker Manhattan 66, a flybridge motor yacht with a fibreglass, deep-V hull shaped for a stable ride at speed. Large windows and full-width sliding doors open the salon straight onto the cockpit, so the galley, the seating and the outside deck read as one space rather than three.
Layout and accommodation
Guests sleep across five cabins for up to ten aboard: an owner's suite set full-beam amidships with its own ensuite bathroom, a VIP stateroom forward, and further guest cabins besides. A lower helm gives the captain clear sightlines for docking, separate from the flybridge helm above.
Performance and engineering
Twin 2,000 hp diesels give Lucky Bet a 24-knot cruise and a top speed of 30 knots, and the deep-V hull keeps that pace comfortable rather than jarring. The flybridge carries a second helm station, lounge seating and sunpads, so the ride can be steered or simply watched from above.
On deck and at anchor
The hydraulic swim platform aft drops to the water for swimming or launching a tender without any lifting gear, and the sunpads add another place to relax once she is anchored.
Where she lies and how to see her
Lucky Bet lies in Chicago, in the United States. Boatcrowd sets up viewings on the water there and joins you for them, and once you have an accepted offer, a survey and sea trial come next before handover.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
