About Welcome Back
A catamaran built around outdoor living, Welcome Back turns her flybridge into the main lounge and drops a hydraulic platform at the stern for stepping straight into the water. Sunreef Yachts finished her as a Sunreef 50 sailing catamaran in 2019, and her design puts space on deck ahead of anything below.
Build and provenance
She is a Sunreef 50, built to Sunreef Yachts' own naval architecture and interior design, so hull and cabin came from the same studio. Composite construction and a nine-metre beam give the catamaran hull its deck space, completed in 2019.
Layout and accommodation
Four cabins sleep eight guests, with a VIP forward and three further guest cabins, plus a separate crew cabin kept apart from the guest areas. That separation matters on a catamaran, where the hulls carry the cabins and the bridge deck carries the living space: guests keep their own hull to themselves while crew work from theirs.
Performance and engineering
Twin 80hp saildrive engines handle manoeuvring and calms, while a full sail wardrobe, including a gennaker, carries her when the wind is up. She carries a pair of watermakers alongside a generator and solar panels, backed by a house battery bank, so she can sit off a beach for days without needing shore power.
On deck and at anchor
The flybridge lounge sits above the cockpit as a second living deck, and the hydraulic swim platform drops down to become a stretch of terrace at the waterline as much as a way down to the sea. Both spaces are built for time spent at anchor rather than under way.
Where she lies and how to see her
Welcome Back lies in Turkey. Boatcrowd sets up viewings there and is present for them, and once an offer is accepted we bring in the surveyor and arrange the sea trial before anything is signed off.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
