About Tesa
Four cabins for eight guests is a generous ratio on an 88-foot flybridge, and Tesa uses it to put her focus on privacy rather than sheer sleeping capacity. Sanlorenzo built her in 2023, so she is barely three years old and offered as a young yacht within her model line.
Build and provenance
Tesa is a Sanlorenzo SX88, built at 27 metres, or 88 feet, with a beam of 7.2 metres and a draft of 1.7 metres. No refit is recorded, which follows from a 2023 build: what a buyer inspects is close to the yacht as she was delivered. Her tanks hold 9,300 litres of fuel and 2,000 litres of water, enough for extended time away from a marina without restocking.

Performance and engineering
Her Volvo Penta IPS3 D13B engines give Tesa a 20-knot cruise and a 23-knot top speed, with a 550 nautical mile range at her most economical setting, enough for island-hopping along one coast rather than an ocean crossing.

At the stern, a sea-level beach club puts the water within easy reach rather than a raised platform guests have to climb down to.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
