Steel below the waterline, aluminium above it, and a single design hand across the whole yacht: that is the specification Rossinavi is building Berserk to at its yard in Viareggio, with delivery due in 2027. At forty-eight metres and 499 gross tons, she is planned as a full-displacement motor yacht, built for range and calm water rather than pace.
Build and provenance
Rossinavi is constructing Berserk in steel, with an aluminium superstructure kept light over the heavier hull below, a pairing built for ocean passages rather than short coastal hops. The Touch Studio is responsible for both her interior and exterior design, one studio carrying the look from the hull lines through to the cabins. She measures forty-eight metres, 156 feet, with a gross tonnage of 499. Because she is still in build, a buyer takes her new rather than inheriting a survey history.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests are accommodated across five cabins, with a crew of nine, close to one crew member for every guest, to run the yacht day to day. That ratio points to full service rather than a lean delivery crew.
Performance and engineering
Her top speed is set at twelve knots, the mark of a full-displacement hull built to hold a steady pace over distance rather than to sprint between anchorages. She is being built for long ocean passages, the kind of programme a slower, heavier hull is suited to.
On deck and at anchor
A swimming pool sits among her outdoor spaces, and the beach club at the stern doubles as a gym, so the two most-used parts of the boat, for swimming and for exercise, sit close together. Her tender garage is sized to take a large day boat, rated by both length and weight rather than length alone.
Where she lies and how to see her
Berserk is being built in Viareggio, in Italy, and that is where a visit to see her under construction would take place. Boatcrowd sets up those visits and joins buyers for them, and once an offer on her is accepted, survey and sea trial are arranged ahead of her delivery in 2027.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
