Riva 100 Corsaro Motor Yacht
About Riva 100 Corsaro
Just 807 hours sit on her two MTU engines, a low figure for a 2018 build that leaves plenty of working life ahead of a new owner. Riva built her that year, and the Riva 100 Corsaro has had one owner since new, with a full service history to show for it. She is described as meticulously maintained, and the low hours and the paperwork back that description up.
Build and provenance
She is a monohull motor yacht on Riva's flybridge line, metres long with a 6.7-metre beam. The one-owner history since delivery means every hour on her logs and every service is on record, the kind of provenance a surveyor likes to see before he even steps aboard.
Layout and accommodation
Four cabins sleep eight guests, and the main cabin sits on the main deck rather than below. The layout puts the owner's routine on one level and keeps the lower deck for guest cabins and sleeping.
Performance and engineering
Two MTU diesels drive her, with 807 hours logged since new, to a 24-knot cruise and 28 knots at full throttle. Gyro stabilisers work at anchor as well as under way, so a night on the hook stays as settled as a passage, and the flybridge stays level for guests who want to be up top.
Where she lies and how to see her
The Riva 100 Corsaro lies in Hong Kong. Boatcrowd can put together a viewing and be there when you step aboard, and once you make an offer that is accepted, survey and sea trial come next before she changes hands.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
