About Aldebaran III
One of her four staterooms does double duty as a gym, fitted with exercise equipment on the port side in place of a cabin, and it converts back to sleeping space whenever a buyer wants the berth instead. Pershing built Aldebaran III, a Pershing 108, in 2016, and she has had a single owner since new.
Build and provenance
She is a monohull sports motor yacht from Pershing, thirty-three metres long with a 7.2-metre beam, a 2.1-metre draft and 178 gross tonnes: proportions built for speed rather than for volume. A single owner has kept her since she was new, with an annual overhaul in a dedicated facility, and she is described as being in condition comparable to new, following extensive winter servicing.
Layout and accommodation
Aldebaran III accommodates eight guests in four staterooms, arranged as a master suite, a VIP suite, a double and a twin, each with its own bathroom and entertainment fittings. The port-side stateroom currently serves as a gym, fitted with exercise equipment, and can be converted back into a cabin for a buyer who wants the berth instead of the equipment.
Performance and engineering
Three MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines produce 2,638 horsepower between them, driving surface drives that give her a 37-knot cruise and 42 knots flat out. Zero-speed stabilisers hold her steady once she stops, so the pace that gets her to an anchorage quickly does not cost comfort once she is there.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
