Ten guests across five cabins is a party large enough for a proper gathering, and still small enough that everyone fits round one table. Carbon Copy is a 106-foot Ocean Alexander 32L from 2022, and her main-deck master puts the owner's cabin on the same level as the entertaining rather than below it.
Build and provenance
Ocean Alexander delivered the 32L in 2022 as a flybridge motor yacht on a monohull, built for the kind of extended stays a family takes together rather than a short coastal hop. A generator carries the hotel load through a full day at anchor, and her water maker keeps tanks topped up without a return to the dock.
Layout and accommodation
Five cabins across the main and lower decks sleep ten guests, with the owner's suite forward on the main deck, pitched at the same level as the living spaces rather than tucked below. The layout keeps the gathering rooms open to natural light and the view outside, rather than dark corridors below.
Performance and engineering
Twin diesel engines power her to a cruising speed built for the kind of extended cruises where fuel and water management matter more than speed. A generator carries the load through a full day at anchor, and fresh-water production from the integrated water maker means time at anchor can stretch without a return to the dock.
On deck and at anchor
A jacuzzi is built into the deck plan, the natural gathering point once the anchor goes down. The flybridge and upper deck spaces keep the scale manageable while the main deck stays calm and liveable.

Carbon Copy is available for viewing whenever you are ready, with coordination through our office. Survey and sea trial follow once an offer is accepted, both arranged and attended by us through to handover.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
