Ray Motor Yacht
About Ray
A near-new hull removes one variable from ownership: there is no refit history to research and no prior systems to inherit, just a 2025 build with hours still low. Numarine's 32XP puts 33 metres and 299 gross tonnes into a steel-hulled motor yacht, delivered already built, which spares a buyer the two-year wait a custom order would carry.
Build and provenance
Can Yalman shaped her lines, and Numarine built the hull in steel with a GRP superstructure. She carries full MCA LY3 compliance and Commercial Short Range status, along with Tier III MAN engines fitted with SCR emissions treatment, credentials that matter to a buyer who wants to run her commercially as well as privately. Ray is engineered to beat RINA's comfort standard for noise and vibration, which for an owner means a quiet boat underway rather than one that is merely quiet at the dock.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests are accommodated across five cabins, including a full-beam master suite that takes the whole width of the hull for its own deck rather than sharing it with corridors. A crew of five looks after the boat, a ratio that keeps service attentive without crowding the lower decks.
Performance and engineering
She cruises at 11 knots and reaches 13.8 knots flat out, modest figures next to her length that suit a buyer who wants a steady sea boat rather than outright pace. Tankage runs to 26,000 gallons of fuel and 3,000 gallons of fresh water, enough to keep Ray self-sufficient for an extended stretch without a fuel stop.
On deck and at anchor
On deck, a beach club and a sun deck give guests separate spaces to spread out, and a gym keeps a fitness routine possible underway. A wine cellar and a crane for handling water toys round out life aboard, with the toys themselves stored ready to launch.
Where she lies and how to see her
We arrange every viewing of Ray and attend it with you, walking through her systems and her layout in person rather than by video call. Once an offer is accepted, survey and sea trial follow before handover, giving a buyer an independent check on everything described here before funds change hands.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
