About Kokoro
One owner has held Kokoro since delivery in 2020, and much of her build points at that kind of steady custodianship: Lloyd's Register construction, MCA coding for professional crew, and a layout built to run rather than merely to look well. Build and provenance
Moonen built Kokoro in 2020 from the Martinique series, an in-house design where the engineering carries over and is refined from one hull to the next. Rene van der Velden drew her exterior and Studio Indigo designed her interior, and she is built to Lloyd's Register and coded to MCA standards, the classification a professionally crewed yacht of her size is expected to hold.
Layout and accommodation
Five staterooms sleep up to 12 guests aboard Kokoro, and a crew of seven runs the boat and keeps house, enough hands for full days without any guest waiting on service. She has had one owner since her 2020 delivery, a straightforward ownership record for a buyer's due diligence to follow.
Performance and engineering
Her top speed is 16.5 knots, a figure that places her as a comfortable-cruise motor yacht rather than a sprinter. Worldwide shore-power capability lets her plug into shore systems wherever she berths, useful for long stays in a marina. A tender garage built into the hull side holds a six-metre tender, and the foredeck stows two Jet Skis for days when the anchorage calls for something faster.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
