Slyder 80 Motor Yacht
About Slyder 80
Eight guests across four cabins gives Slyder 80 real room, carried on a wide 10.8-metre beam and a 24-metre length. MAVEA Yachts has her in build now, targeting a 2027 delivery.
Build and provenance
MAVEA Yachts builds her as part of the Slyder 80 range, a monohull motor yacht due for delivery in 2027. Length overall reaches 24 metres, beam 10.8 metres, with a 4.6 metre draught: proportions that put more width into the layout than her length alone would suggest.
Layout and accommodation
Four cabins hold eight guests aboard Slyder 80, and her 10.8-metre beam gives each stateroom real floor space. Large beds fit those cabins without crowding them.
Performance and engineering
Between them, her two electric motors draw 70 to 100 kilowatts and deliver a 7-knot cruise with 24 knots available at full throttle; the power comes from solar collection, not diesel. With no fuel tank to route around, that hull volume goes into the living spaces instead.
On deck and at anchor
A variable-draught system lets Slyder 80 trim shallower to reach a marina berth or a shallow anchorage, then deepen again once she is back in open water.
Where she lies and how to see her
Germany is where Slyder 80 takes shape, and that is where a viewing happens while she is still in build. Boatcrowd sets it up and is there for it, then once an offer is accepted, a surveyor and a sea trial follow before she changes hands.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
