The Isa Unica Steel 45M reads like a yacht built for the days at anchor as much as the days under way, with lounging space at the stern, on the flybridge and along the foredeck. ISA is delivering her from the Italian yard in 2029, with Enrico Gobbi’s Team for Design studio behind both her exterior and interior. At 44 metres, she carries ten guests and a crew of nine already fixed into the plan.
Build and provenance
She is an In build project from ISA, with her steel displacement hull and aluminium superstructure already specified in the design. At 8.6 metres of beam and a 2.3-metre draft on a 44-metre length, the proportions favour a steady, seakeeping hull over a fast one, matching a design built for long stretches rather than short hops.
Layout and accommodation
The accommodation plan includes five cabins for guests, with nine crew members providing attentive service and keeping the guest-to-crew ratio low for a yacht this size. The stern steps down in three levels toward the water, ending in a glass-railed cockpit open to the water, one of several places on board where the deck plan puts guests close to the sea rather than away from it.
Performance and engineering
Two Caterpillar C32 ACERT engines hold her at a 14-knot cruise, with an economical setting near 10 knots for the days when the plan is distance rather than pace. Her displacement hull is built for that kind of running, steady over long stretches rather than quick off the mark.
On deck and at anchor
A swimming pool and a jacuzzi sit at opposite ends of the outdoor plan: on the Isa Unica Steel 45M the pool is worked into the stern’s cascade, and the jacuzzi sits in the flybridge lounge alongside a bar and a dining table. Below, a gym, a spa, a sauna and a massage room give the wellness side of the boat as much room as the sun deck and the beach club give the social side.
Where she lies and how to see her
She lies, for now, on the build floor in Italy, aimed at a 2029 delivery. Boatcrowd sets up and attends viewings while she is built, and once an offer is accepted the survey and sea trial come next.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
