Inace Yachts is building that profile into the ISY 131 Explora, a 40-metre monohull explorer due for delivery in 2027. She is still in build in Brazil, so what a buyer inspects today is a hull taking shape rather than years of use.
Build and provenance
Her hull is steel and her superstructure aluminium, and exterior design comes from Fernando de Almeida: a strong bow, long glazing and a multi-deck arrangement drawn for regular use. She is being built to ABS class, and her decks are teak. At 131 feet, her footprint stays compact while she carries in long-range capability.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests sleep in five cabins, and a crew of six run the yacht. The owner's cabin sits full beam on the main deck with its own private office, giving the principal suite both space and separation from the guest cabins below. Wide glazing brings light into the main salon, and outside, an open sun deck pool and al fresco dining spread across three decks give the yacht room to live outdoors as well as in.
Performance and engineering
Her displacement hull is built for efficient, steady cruising rather than sprinting, and a commercial and naval construction background underpins the engineering. She carries a dedicated dive-support station for owners who want to dive from the boat. Ten knots is both her cruising speed and her top speed, a single efficient pace suited to an explorer built for long passages rather than a quick run.
Where she lies and how to see her
ISY 131 Explora is being built at her builder's yard in Brazil, with delivery still ahead in 2027. Boatcrowd arranges viewings there as construction progresses and keeps buyers updated on her build. Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
