Horizon FD100/912 Motor Yacht
About Horizon FD100/912
Two 1,600-horsepower CAT engines sit behind Horizon FD100/912's hull, more power than a boat her size needs just to manoeuvre, built instead for holding a fast passage. Horizon completed her in 2025 as new stock, ready for her first owner.
Build and provenance
She is a Horizon FD100, a semi-displacement motor yacht with a GRP hull and superstructure, exterior lines by Cor D. Rover and naval architecture from Horizon's own team. Being stock rather than a used yacht, she comes with no survey history yet to read, only sea trials ahead of her.
Layout and accommodation
Four cabins sleep ten guests, and a crew of five, run the boat from their own quarters. A tri-deck layout keeps the guest cabins apart from the crew's working spaces, service kept out of sight without being kept far away.
Performance and engineering
Twin 1,600hp CAT C32A engines drive Horizon FD100/912, output built for holding a cruising pace over distance rather than just manoeuvring at low speed. She carries 15,140 litres of fuel and 1,510 litres of fresh water, tankage sized for time away from a marina rather than day trips.
On deck and at anchor
A tri-deck layout gives her separate decks for separate parts of the day, rather than guests and crew sharing one level throughout.
Where she lies and how to see her
Horizon FD100/912 is new stock, not yet delivered to an owner. Boatcrowd arranges viewings and is there for them, and once an offer is accepted we bring in the surveyor and set up the sea trial before she moves to handover.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
