About Miss Michelle
Miss Michelle is barely two years from her 2024 delivery date, and she reaches the market fitted out rather than run down: low hours on her twin Caterpillar engines, current warranty cover and a fully specified navigation and connectivity suite. Horizon built her to the RP122 specification, and she lies today in Fort Lauderdale.
Build and provenance
Horizon built Miss Michelle as a 37-metre, 112-foot motor yacht on a monohull, using the yard's resin-infusion construction method for a lighter, stiffer hull. At 264 gross tonnes she carries real interior volume, and the semi-displacement hull form beneath her is built to cover distance efficiently rather than trade everything for outright speed.
Layout and accommodation
Eight guests sleep across four cabins, including a full-beam suite on the main deck and a second master one deck down, an arrangement that gives two cabins owner-level space instead of a single primary suite carrying the whole job. A crew of five run the boat from their own quarters.
Performance and engineering
Her twin 2,400 hp Caterpillar C32B engines deliver 12 knots cruising and 20 knots maximum, with a 2,000-nautical-mile range that puts long coastal runs within reach rather than just day trips. Stabilisers work both at anchor and underway, and bow and stern thrusters make close-quarters handling straightforward for a boat this size. Fuel capacity runs to 7,550 gallons, enough to make that range figure meaningful rather than theoretical.
On deck and at anchor
On deck, a beach club with a wet bar and a fold-out platform brings the water within easy reach, a jacuzzi sits forward with seating and a table around it, and sunpads and a barbecue fill the spaces in between. A tender garage keeps the toys out of sight until they're needed, and WiFi covers the boat throughout.

Miss Michelle lies in Fort Lauderdale, USA. Boatcrowd sets up every viewing and is there for it, and a survey and sea trial follow once an offer is accepted, arranged with her crew. Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
