Hawk Yachts has her in build for delivery in 2029, a 68-metre expedition-style motor yacht designed for function first. She carries the volume, at 1,830 gross tons, to make that layout comfortable rather than cramped.
Build and provenance
Hawk Yachts designed Hawk Ranger 68 as a monohull expedition vessel with an eye on function over styling, and she carries a 12.5-metre beam across a 68-metre length. She is classed by Bureau Veritas with unrestricted navigation, and her Ice Class rating rounds out a hull built to go further than a marina-hopping itinerary.
Layout and accommodation
Fourteen guests sleep across seven staterooms, spread over five decks that give the layout room to breathe. That kind of spread is what a family group, or a long expedition, actually needs: room to disperse rather than gather in one saloon all day.
Performance and engineering
Two CAT 3512 E v12 engines give her a 13-knot cruise and a 17-knot top speed, figures suited to covering distance rather than a fast lunch run. Zero-speed stabilisers keep her steady once she is anchored, and her 3.6-metre draught is part of the same expedition brief: built to go, and to arrive steady.
On deck and at anchor
A beach club opens at the stern, with a pool and jacuzzi on the deck above for the days spent at anchor rather than underway. A helipad extends how a guest can reach her, or leave her, when the nearest airstrip is a long way from the nearest anchorage.

Hawk Ranger 68 lies in Greece, where she is currently in build. Boatcrowd will handle viewings as she nears delivery, attending each one in person, and once an offer is accepted, survey and sea trial follow before handover.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
