Build and provenance
Sami Kay III is a monohull measuring 73 feet, or 22 metres, with a 5.8 metre beam and a 1.9 metre draft, shallow enough to sit comfortably in a marina berth without needing deep water alongside. Ferretti built her in 2017, and her flybridge design carries an open lounge up onto a second deck above the saloon.
Layout and accommodation
Eight guests are the maximum she carries, looked after by a crew of two. The flybridge itself is the layout's headline fact: a further open deck above the saloon, giving guests a second place to gather rather than the one room below.
Performance and engineering
Two MTU 10V 2000 M93 diesels power her, each producing 1,524 hp, the pairing that moves 22 metres of monohull through the water.
On deck and at anchor
A swim platform at the stern gives direct access to the water, and a barbecue point on deck keeps meals outside when the weather allows. Satellite connectivity keeps her guests in touch even once Miami Beach is out of sight, and underwater lights extend the evening once she is anchored.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
