Ferretti finished Katrin I in 2025, and her paperwork stops there: no refit, no recorded change since the yard signed her off. For a buyer, that means the specification underfoot is the specification she was built to, not a patched-together history to unpick. Filippo Salvetti drew her exterior, and the 670 hull beneath it carries his lines rather than a later owner's additions.
Build and provenance
She is a Ferretti 670, twenty metres overall on a monohull, built in GRP for both hull and superstructure. Filippo Salvetti handled her exterior design, and at 39.5 gross tonnes she carries her volume in a hull drawn for a flybridge yacht rather than stretched to reach a number. With no refit year on record, a buyer's survey reads as a delivery inspection rather than a history of repairs.
Layout and accommodation
Below deck, four cabins sleep eight guests: a full-beam master with hull windows and its own ensuite, a forward VIP with a centreline berth and ensuite access, and two twin cabins for the remaining guests. Crew quarters sit aft with their own separate access, keeping one crew member's routine away from the guest spaces below.
Performance and engineering
Katrin I cruises at 26 knots and reaches 32 flat out, driven by twin MAN V8 engines of 1,200 hp apiece on conventional shaft drives rather than a pod system; at that cruising speed she carries a range of 270 nautical miles. Two Seakeeper NG6 units hold her steady at anchor and under way alike, and an Onan generator keeps the systems running when she is not. That combination reads as a coastal and offshore yacht built to reach a mooring quickly and sit still once there.
On deck and at anchor
On deck, a hydraulic swim platform lowers for tender and water toy use, and the flybridge above adds a second entertaining level to the cockpit. Sunpads on the foredeck give guests a private spot forward, away from the aft cockpit's teak dining table.

Katrin I lies in Miami, on the Florida coast. Boatcrowd arranges viewings there and attends every one with a prospective buyer, and once an offer is accepted, a survey and sea trial follow before handover.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
