Life aboard an explorer yacht means fewer fuel stops and a wider range of cruising grounds within reach: Dynamiq Global 400 is built in steel for exactly that kind of distance, with a cruising speed of 10 knots that trades pace for endurance. Dynamiq has her in build now, due for delivery in 2027.
Build and provenance
Her hull and superstructure are built in steel, the choice for a yacht meant to cross oceans rather than hop between marinas. Dutch naval architects drew her lines, and at 40 metres and 400 gross tons, Dynamiq Global 400 carries considerable volume for her length, room that shows up as extra headroom and wider walkways rather than a bigger footprint at the dock. She is being built in Turkey, for delivery in 2027.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests are accommodated across five staterooms, and the Owner's suite sits on the main deck with two fold-down balconies that open the cabin to the sea. A beam of 8.5 metres and a draught of 2.4 metres give the interior room to spread out while still keeping her manageable to handle.
Performance and engineering
Two Volvo Penta D16-850 engines produce 625 kW combined, giving her a cruising speed of 10 knots and a top speed of 14, figures built for covering distance steadily rather than arriving fast. A fitted Hull Vane reduces pitching underway, and zero-speed stabilisers hold her level once she is stopped for the night.
On deck and at anchor
A beach club, complete with sauna and steam room, is aboard, along with a swimming pool, a deck jacuzzi and a sun deck for time in the open air. A gym gives guests a way to stay active on longer passages between anchorages.
Where she lies and how to see her
Turkey is where the yard is finishing Dynamiq Global 400, ahead of a 2027 delivery. We put buyers in touch with the build and, where one exists, a sister yacht on the water, joining them for the viewing. Terms agreed, her survey and sea trial are next, before she is handed over.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
