About 7 Seconds
An internal volume rarely found on yachts of her size is what stands out about 7 Seconds: 140 gross tons on a 26-metre hull. DL Yachts delivered her in 2015 as a Dreamline 26, and her four-suite layout below makes use of that extra volume.
Build and provenance
She has a GRP hull and superstructure to a semi-displacement design from Arrabito Naval Architects, with a bulbous bow drawn in for efficiency. Team for Design, led by Enrico Gobbi, handled both the interior and the exterior. Zero-speed stabilisers from CMC work at anchor and under way, keeping the ride level in both states.
Layout and accommodation
Eight guests sleep across four suites aboard 7 Seconds, each with a private bathroom and its own television, while a crew of three is quartered apart from the guest cabins to keep the two separate. The master suite sits forward on the main deck, with wrap-around glazing that opens the room to the sea on both sides and a private foredeck lounge just beyond the door.
Performance and engineering
Twin 1,400 hp MAN D2862LE466 engines take her to a 22-knot top speed and settle to a 15-knot cruise, with 1,200 nautical miles of range at that pace. Fuel and fresh water tanks of 11,000 and 2,400 litres support a real passage rather than a short hop, and the zero-speed stabilisers mean the ride stays flat whether she is running or sitting still.
On deck and at anchor
The flybridge carries a retractable hardtop over space for dining, sunbathing and open-air navigation, making it a second living deck above the guest cabins.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
