About Miotu
Eleven guests sleep across five cabins aboard Miotu, a forty-three-metre flybridge motor yacht that Custom Line delivered in 2022. Her owner's suite spans the full beam on the main deck and opens onto its own balcony that folds out over the water, and the four decks spread the accommodation across the yacht rather than stacking it. One owner has had her from new.
Build and provenance
Custom Line built Miotu in composite and carbon fibre, a construction choice aimed at keeping weight down on a forty-three-metre hull. Francesco Paszkowski drew the exterior and Margherita Casprini designed the interiors. She has had one owner since her 2022 delivery, so her service history runs back to a single hand rather than several.
Layout and accommodation
That owner's suite runs the full width of the main deck, and its balcony folds out to put a guest at the water rather than above it when she is at anchor. Four more guest cabins hold the remaining passengers across Miotu's four decks, and a beach club with a tender garage gives direct access to the water.
Performance and engineering
Twin MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines rated at 2,638 metric horsepower give Miotu an eighteen-knot cruise and a top speed of 21.5 knots, driven through a shaft-line propulsion set-up. NAIAD hydraulic fins and three Seakeeper gyros hold her steady at anchor as well as under way, and two 99kW generators keep her systems running.
Where she lies and how to see her
Miotu lies in Italy. A viewing can be arranged whenever suits a buyer, and we are on hand for it. Should an offer be agreed, the next steps are a survey and a sea trial, ahead of handover.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
