About Navetta 42
A tri-deck profile with none of the usual tenders or cranes cluttering her lines is the first thing that sets her apart. Zuccon International Project drew the exterior, and Custom Line delivered the Navetta 42 in 2023 at 42 metres and 348 gross tons, built to full MCA compliance. She comes to market from Fort Lauderdale as a private yacht that has never been chartered.
Build and provenance
Custom Line built the Navetta 42 in fibreglass on a monohull, displacement hull. Delivered in 2023, she carries a heavily optioned specification that includes an Invisible Black marble finish through her en-suites. For a buyer that means a yacht not yet two years old, where a first survey should read as a delivery inspection rather than a record of wear.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests sleep across five cabins, looked after by a crew of nine, a ratio that keeps attention close at hand even with a full boat. A drop-down electric balcony opens the main deck to the sea, adding space that a fixed hull line would not give her. Five cabins for ten guests is a generous split, with the kind of room that lets a family group spread out rather than share.
Performance and engineering
Two 1,469 hp Caterpillar C32 ACERT V12 engines, non-SCR units, give her a 13-knot cruise and 16 knots flat out. Stabilisers hold her level underway, and a bow thruster and tender garage take care of close-quarters work and stowage. She is built to cover distance at an easy pace, a yacht for passages rather than short hops.
On deck and at anchor
Astern, the beach club opens at the waterline by the swimming platform, and the sun deck carries a jacuzzi, a BBQ and a Teppanyaki grill for cooking outside. Sunpads line the upper decks, and wifi and air conditioning keep the interior comfortable through a Florida summer. It is a yacht arranged for time on deck as much as for time spent moving.

The Navetta 42 lies in Fort Lauderdale, ready to be viewed. Boatcrowd sets up each visit and is there on the day, and once a buyer's offer is accepted we bring in the surveyor and fix a date for sea trial.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
