Custom Line delivered Albus in 2025 as a Navetta 42, a 42-metre displacement motor yacht driven by twin 1,623 hp Caterpillar C32 engines chosen for endurance over outright speed.
Build and provenance
She is built in GRP, hull and superstructure both, and her exterior and interior were designed by Zuccon International Project. Albus was delivered in 2025 with low engine hours and every warranty item completed, so a buyer takes on a near-new yacht rather than a used one in the ordinary sense. At 348 gross tonnes on a 42-metre platform she carries real volume for her length.
Layout and accommodation
Accommodation sleeps ten guests across five cabins; the owner's suite occupies the full beam forward on the main deck with an attached office. A crew of eight works from dedicated quarters, a ratio built for long stretches away from a marina rather than a single day out. The skylounge is a second gathering space above the main deck, and a dumbwaiter connects the upper deck to the sundeck for service without the stairs.
Performance and engineering
The twin 1,623 hp Caterpillar C32 engines cruise her at 10 knots and reach 15 knots at full power, with a 3,000-nautical-mile range built for a passage rather than a lunch run. Two 80 kW generators keep the systems running at anchor, and stabilisers hold her steady once the engines are off. Substantial fuel and water tankage allow extended passages without frequent stops to refuel or take on water.
On deck and at anchor
The beach club sits at the waterline with its own day head, the aft deck is laid out for al fresco dining, and the sundeck carries a jacuzzi surrounded by sunpads with a bar and grill close by. A balcony off the main saloon adds a second way to reach the water without leaving the interior.

Albus lies in Ventimiglia. We arrange every viewing and are present for it, and a survey and sea trial follow once an offer on her is accepted.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
