Orca I Motor Yacht
About Orca I
A garage large enough for a tender and a jet ski together says something about how Orca I is meant to be used: for days that start with a swim and end with a run ashore on two kinds of toy. Cranchi delivered her in 2022, and she comes to market from Turkey.
Build and provenance
She is a motor yacht on a monohull, drawn inside and out by Christian Grande. She measures 25 metres, with a beam of 5.8 metres and a draught of 1.9 metres, and carries 99 gross tonnes. No refit is on record: she is offered as delivered in 2022.
Layout and accommodation
Eight guests sleep across four cabins, with a crew of four to run the boat and keep the garage and its toys ready. One guest cabin was fitted out as a private office, a detail that suits an owner who mixes time afloat with time still at work.
Performance and engineering
Three Volvo Penta D13 IPS 1350 engines, each rated at 1,000 hp, have run 723 hours and give her a 21 knot cruise with 28 knots on hand at full throttle, enough pace to make islands and coves a short run rather than a long one. A gyroscopic stabiliser works with Humphree fins to keep her level at anchor and under way.
On deck and at anchor
The garage stows a Williams tender alongside a jet ski, and a watermaker keeps her self-sufficient for days spent away from a marina.
Where she lies and how to see her
Orca I lies in Turkey. Boatcrowd sets up viewings and takes part in them, and once an offer is accepted, survey and sea trial follow before she changes hands.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
