Two design studios worked on the Bilgin 163: one shaped how she looks from the water, the other how she feels inside. Unique Yacht Design drew her exterior and naval architecture, and Hot Lab handled the interior, a pairing that keeps sculpture and comfort in the same hands. Bilgin is building this fifty-metre motor yacht for delivery in 2029.
Build and provenance
She is a displacement motor yacht on a monohull, part of a new series at fifty metres and 499 gross tons. As a yacht still under construction, she carries no service history yet: her first survey will read as a delivery inspection rather than a record of wear.
Layout and accommodation
Twelve guests are accommodated aboard the Bilgin 163 across six cabins, with a crew of nine to run the boat and look after them, close to one crew member for every guest and a ratio that points to unhurried, attentive service rather than a lean delivery crew. Large windows and a palette of natural tones keep the cabins and saloon in daylight, a detail carried through from Hot Lab's interior design.
Performance and engineering
Two CAT C32 diesels, each rated at 1,081 kW, give her a top speed of 17 knots: enough for a fast transit between anchorages rather than an ocean crossing at pace. Diesel power and a displacement hull suit a yacht built to sit comfortably at anchor as much as to move between ports.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
