Build and provenance
Benetti is building her as a displacement motor yacht on a monohull, 52 metres long (169 feet), with a beam of 9 metres and a draft of 2.6 metres, for a gross tonnage of 499. Valentina Zannier is designing the interior and RWD is responsible for the exterior styling, the two disciplines an owner will be asked to weigh in on before the yacht is finished.
Layout and accommodation
Twelve guests sleep in six cabins, with a crew of ten to look after them: a crew-to-guest ratio that points to full service rather than a lighter charter-style crew. The specific arrangement of those cabins is not yet published.
Performance and engineering
Two MAN V12 engines give her an 11-knot cruise and a 15-knot top speed, with a range of 4,500 nautical miles: enough to cross an ocean rather than simply hop between anchorages, a consideration for an owner planning where she will be based.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
