About Inspiration
Inspiration carries a carbon fibre superstructure over a glass-reinforced hull, a combination chosen for weight rather than tradition: less structure aloft asks less of the engines below. Benetti built her in 2018 as a Fast 125, one of the yard's speed-oriented flybridge models, and she is offered today from Nassau in the Bahamas.
Build and provenance
She is a monohull motor yacht in flybridge style, her hull glass-reinforced plastic and her superstructure carbon fibre. Benetti delivered her in 2018, and nothing in her record shows a refit since.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests are accommodated across five cabins, with seven crew aboard to run the boat and look after them, a crew count that on a yacht this size points to full service rather than a skeleton team. The flybridge format puts an extra deck of open space above the main saloon, a layout built around time spent outside as much as in.
Performance and engineering
Two 2,636 hp MTU 12V 2000 M96L engines drive her to a 17-knot cruise and 22 knots flat out, enough speed that a passage plan can trade a day for an afternoon. At 349 gross tons and 8.5 metres of beam, she carries that engineering without feeling top-heavy on her 2.1-metre draught.
Where she lies and how to see her
Inspiration lies in Nassau, in the Bahamas. Boatcrowd sets up viewings and is there for them alongside a buyer; once an offer is accepted, the survey and sea trial follow before anything is final.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
