Sunrise II Motor Yacht
About Sunrise II
Taking on a yacht of this size means taking on a full set of systems and a paper trail, and Sunrise II arrives with hers documented plainly. Benetti built her as hull number nine of the Mediterraneo 116 series, delivered in 2021 and lying in Turkey today. She runs 36 metres, or 116 feet, with a beam of 7.7 metres, a draft of 2.2 metres and 271 gross tonnes of enclosed volume.
Build and provenance
She is built in glass-reinforced plastic on a monohull, styled outside by Giorgio M. Cassetta with the interior credited to Salvagni Architetti working alongside Benetti. No refit is recorded since her 2021 delivery, so her systems are still close to their original specification, a shorter list for a buyer's surveyor to work through.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests sleep across five cabins aboard Sunrise II. Her displacement hull and Mediterraneo profile favour steady living space over outright speed, with the interior design giving the cabins and saloon a considered, unhurried feel.
Performance and engineering
Two MAN engines rated at 1,380 hp apiece give her a 14-knot cruise and a 15-knot top speed, with a listed range of 3,000 nautical miles. The narrow gap between her cruising and top speeds reflects a true displacement hull: built to cover distance steadily rather than sprint, and most at home settled into a long passage.
Where she lies and how to see her
Sunrise II lies in Turkey. We arrange a viewing and come along ourselves, and once an offer is accepted, a survey and sea trial follow before the sale completes.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
