About A-Force
A range of 351 nautical miles sits behind the Fly 78 platform's flybridge profile, and Azimut built A-Force to use it. Delivered in 2021, she was already coded for charter under the Malta flag, so she comes into this sale with a season of paying guests behind her.
Build and provenance
She is built in composite rather than fibreglass. Alberto Mancini drew her exterior and Achille Salvagni her interior, and her layout keeps a separate passageway for the crew, so service happens away from the guest areas. Her Malta charter code carries a prior season of charter history into the sale, a working record rather than a first outing.
Layout and accommodation
Eight guests sleep in four cabins, and three crew look after them, with the separate passageway keeping that work out of the guest spaces. At 63 gross tonnes on a 24-metre platform, A-Force carries more room than her length alone would suggest.
Performance and engineering
Three Volvo Penta engines at 900 horsepower each drive her IPS pod system to a 26-knot cruise and 33 knots flat out. Stabilisers work both at anchor and under way, so a night off a beach and a run between islands both stay level.
On deck and at anchor
The sun deck and the foredeck seating give her two separate outdoor rooms, one open to the sky and one set forward and quieter.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
