Buying a yacht two years before you can stand on her deck is its own kind of decision, and it is the one facing a buyer of S-Force 55 Hull#4. Admiral is building her for delivery in 2027, the fourth hull of this design rather than a one-off, at 180 feet and 499 gross tons.

Build and provenance

S-Force 55 Hull#4 is built by Admiral in aluminium, a displacement-style motor yacht styled by The Italian Sea Group. Buying in build means a buyer today still has a say in how the interior is finished ahead of delivery.

Layout and accommodation

Twelve guests will sleep across six cabins, with a crew of eleven aboard to run the yacht around them, close to one crew member per guest. An owner's study is listed among her spaces, a private room set apart from the guest cabins.

Performance and engineering

Two 1,901 hp Caterpillar C32 engines give her a 15-knot cruise and an 18-knot top speed, figures that mark her as a yacht built for range rather than pace. She carries 64,000 litres of fuel and is rated for 3,500 nautical miles, enough to cross an ocean rather than hop between anchorages, and stabilisers keep her steady underway.

On deck and at anchor

On deck she is fitted with a beach club, a jacuzzi and a sun deck, and a gym and a cinema round out the spaces below. A helipad is also listed among her features, for a buyer who wants an alternative to the drive from the marina.

S-Force 55 Hull#4 is under construction at Marina di Carrara, Italy. Boatcrowd arranges viewings of the build itself as well as the finished yacht once she is delivered, and a survey and sea trial follow an accepted offer, once she is in the water.
