About Loewe
Some buyers want to live aboard before they commit, and Loewe makes that possible: she already charters through Boatcrowd, so a week on board can come before any paperwork. Tankoa Yachts delivered her in 2025 as a one-off, and at 499 gross tons she carries the waterfront of a considerably larger yacht inside her 55 metres.
Build and provenance
She is Tankoa's T55 Sportiva, a displacement motor yacht on a single hull, and She is shaped around the idea of entertaining rather than covering distance. At a 2.4 metre draught, more anchorages stay within reach for a buyer who wants to get close to shore.
Layout and accommodation
Twelve guests sleep across Loewe's six cabins, and a crew of ten looks after them, enough hands that service stays attentive even with every cabin full.
Performance and engineering
She cruises at 12 knots and reaches 17 knots flat out, a pace built for moving between anchorages rather than covering long open-water distances in a hurry.
On deck and at anchor
On deck, the sun deck carries her jacuzzi, and the stern floor lifts away to open a dance space, complete with its own bar and a booth for a DJ, for evenings spent at anchor. A private terrace off the suite carries a second jacuzzi and steps straight to the water. Below, a gym and sauna sit alongside a skylounge, an underwater viewing window and a teppanyaki grill for cooking to order at the table.

Loewe lies in Monaco, and a viewing can be arranged whenever a buyer is ready to step aboard; we set it up and are there throughout. Once an offer is accepted, a surveyor and a sea trial come next, ahead of any handover. Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
