About After 8 II
Twin MTU 12V 2000 M94 engines are the largest option Sunseeker offered on the 86 Yacht, and After 8 II carries them: 1,950 hp a side, enough for a 26-knot cruise and 31 knots flat out. Sunseeker built her in 2015, and she lies now in Palma, Spain.
Build and provenance
On a monohull flybridge platform she runs twenty-six metres overall, a 6.5-metre beam and a two-metre draft, the same footprint carried across the 86 Yacht range. After 8 II is the five-cabin version of that range.
Layout and accommodation
Eleven guests sleep aboard After 8 II across five en-suite cabins on the lower deck, the master forward and the remaining four cabins, two double and two twin, arranged symmetrically either side of the hull. Four crew work from two double cabins with their own bathroom and laundry, reached from the bathing platform rather than through the guest areas. On the main deck, the cockpit's dining table connects to the saloon, a day head, the interior helm and a galley with its own side door.
Performance and engineering
Hydraulic fin stabilisation and hydraulic thrusters come as part of the larger engine package, and twin generators plus a water maker support systems for time spent away from a marina. A third station adds a helm position beyond the main deck and the flybridge, useful when manoeuvring alongside needs a clearer sightline.
On deck and at anchor
A private bow area with sun loungers and an umbrella gives foredeck seating for al fresco dining, and a fold-down balcony opens the saloon at rest. The flybridge carries a dining table, a wet bar and a BBQ, and stabilisers work both under way and at anchor to keep her steady.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
