Build and provenance
Sunreef Yachts delivered the Sunreef 70 Next in 2025 as a sailing catamaran, twenty two metres long with a beam of 10.1 metres. She is offered here as a used yacht, ready to sail rather than still on an order book.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests sleep across five cabins, a generous count for a 72-foot catamaran, spread so that no cabin feels like an afterthought. The full-beam aft cockpit and the flybridge above it give guests separate outdoor spaces at deck level and one level up, useful for a family or a group of friends who want room to spread out.
Performance and engineering
Sunreef 70 Next offers a choice of engines, a 175 horsepower pairing or a stronger 225 horsepower pairing, with a top speed of 12 knots under power. The extra option gives a buyer more power in reserve when motoring against wind or tide.
On deck and at anchor
The hydraulic swim platform lowers to the water for swimming and for launching a tender, and the flybridge stays free for lounging above the cockpit when the sails are down and she is at anchor.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
