The Sunreef 49M spreads guest life across three deck levels, a tri-deck layout on a sailing catamaran, and Sunreef Yachts is building her in Gdansk for delivery in 2028. At 400 gross tons across 49 metres, life aboard her will run mostly outdoors, with room built in for personal watercraft alongside her tenders.
Build and provenance
She is a composite-hulled sailing catamaran, and Sunreef Yachts has her down for 2028 delivery, so a buyer today is ordering the Sunreef 49M to a specification rather than inheriting somebody else's. Her beam of 17 metres is wide even set against her 49-metre length, the space a twin-hull sailing platform gives over a monohull rig of the same length.
Layout and accommodation
Ten guests are accommodated across five cabins, and a crew of seventeen, close to two for every guest, is a scale of service built for a yacht meant to be sailed as much as lived aboard, not simply crewed for hotel-style service.
Performance and engineering
Sail-handling and performance figures for the Sunreef 49M have not been published at this stage of her build. Her twin-hull platform is the same layout Sunreef uses across its sailing range, built for stability under sail rather than for outright speed under power.
Where she lies and how to see her
The Sunreef 49M is under construction in Gdansk, Poland, and Boatcrowd will bring buyers to see her build progress in person, attending every viewing alongside them. Once an offer on her is accepted, we set up the survey and sea trial ahead of handover.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
