Sunreef Yachts is building the Sunreef 43M Superyacht as a sailing catamaran with a composite hull, at 43 metres length and a beam of 15.4 metres, the width that comes with twin hulls rather than one. At 400 gross tonnes she carries real interior volume for a sailing yacht, and her build is under way at the yard in Gdansk, Poland, for a 2028 delivery.
Layout and accommodation
Six cabins sleep twelve guests, and a crew of seven looks after them, a ratio suited to attentive service without crowding the boat. The owner's suite takes the full beam of the hull, 15.4 metres of width, which on a catamaran means windows and space on both sides rather than a single outlook.
Performance and engineering
She cruises at 11 knots under sail, and Sunreef has built her to generate her own power while sailing, working toward zero-emission, near-silent running once under way. That energy autonomy, paired with generous stowage for water toys, points to a catamaran built for long, self-sufficient passages rather than short coastal hops.

Buying Costs
- Survey
- A buyer normally commissions a condition survey, and a sea trial, once an offer is accepted and before the sale becomes unconditional. The cost depends on her size and on where she is lifted, and it is the buyer who appoints the surveyor.
- Registration and flag
- She will be registered on a flag of the buyer's choosing, which carries its own fees and its own survey and crew requirements. Where the yacht is owned through a company, the shares rather than the vessel may change hands, which changes what is payable.
- VAT and import
- Whether VAT is due, and where, depends on the yacht's current status, her flag, the buyer's residency and where she is delivered. Where the seller has stated her VAT status, it is shown with the asking price on her page, and it is confirmed in writing before an offer is made.
- Running costs
- Crew, berthing, insurance, class and annual maintenance continue from the day she is yours. A yacht that is also chartered earns against them, and we will set out what her season has actually returned before you commit.
